Elizée Brings a Comfort-Focused Approach to Luxury Heels for Weddings and Events

There is a point during almost every wedding, vacation dinner, or summer event when a beautiful pair of heels stops feeling quite so beautiful. Usually, it happens a few hours in. The posture changes slightly, conversations become more stationary, and the search quietly begins for somewhere to sit down for a minute. Luxury footwear brand Elizée has built much of its identity around creating comfortable luxury heels that avoid that moment altogether.

For spring/summer ’26, the Italian-crafted label is introducing three new styles: Simone, Carmina, and Tessa. At the same time, it is expanding two of its most recognizable silhouettes, Adriana and Fiorella. The collection was designed with modern occasion dressing in mind, especially as weddings and summer events increasingly stretch across entire weekends instead of a single evening. Between rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions, and travel in between, women are often spending extended periods in formal footwear, shifting expectations toward comfortable high heels that can carry them through an entire evening rather than just the first few hours.

That shift sits at the center of Elizée’s approach. The brand was founded by Erika Carrero after years spent traveling internationally for work in heels that looked refined but rarely remained comfortable by the end of the day. Instead of treating that discomfort as unavoidable, Carrero developed the brand’s proprietary triple-layer comfort insole.

What makes Elizée distinctive is that the comfort component stays relatively invisible. The shoes are not designed to look orthopedic or overtly practical. The silhouettes feel polished and evening-ready, which is likely part of why the brand has continued gaining recognition from fashion and lifestyle publications. Recently, the Adriana platform heel was named “Best Heel with Support.”

The spring ’26 collection continues in that direction with a lineup that feels built for movement rather than just appearance.

Simone

Simone introduces a softer take on the platform sandal. Hand-twisted front straps and ruched side detailing give the shoe a more fluid shape, while still maintaining enough structure to feel supportive throughout extended wear. The overall silhouette feels especially suited for bridal events and formal summer occasions where women often remain on their feet for hours at a time.

Carmina

Carmina moves into slightly bolder territory without becoming heavy. The platform mule features a sculpted leather upper anchored by a gold ring accent that adds dimension while keeping the overall look clean and restrained. Available in cream, camel, and tan, the style feels versatile enough to work beyond a single event, which increasingly matters in a category where women are becoming more selective about investment pieces.

Tessa

Tessa, meanwhile, offers the sleekest profile of the new releases. Built around a slim 60 mm block heel, the sandal combines delicate ankle straps with subtle enameled chain detailing that catches light without overpowering the silhouette itself. The lower heel height gives the style a different kind of practicality, particularly for destination weddings, travel-heavy schedules, and long evenings where stability becomes just as important as appearance.

Adriana

The collection also revisits Adriana, one of the brand’s best-selling platform heels, with a limited-edition leopard suede version crafted from repurposed Italian archival leathers. The leopard finish adds a sharper, more expressive edge to the silhouette while preserving the balanced platform construction that helped the shoe earn recognition from editors during wear testing.

Fiorella

Fiorella returns this season in a new nude beige shade following repeated requests from customers and longtime followers of the brand. Neutral heels tend to become some of the hardest-working shoes in a wardrobe because they move so easily between weddings, dinners, work events, and travel. Fiorella was designed with exactly that kind of versatility in mind, combining crossover straps with a cushioned platform structure intended to distribute pressure more evenly throughout wear.

Construction plays a major role across the collection. Elizée designs its shoes on a more accommodating last, enhancing comfort and fit while preserving the refined shape associated with the luxury footwear. According to the company, the shoe’s construction is designed to help reduce pressure around common areas of discomfort, such as bunions and toe crowding, details that become far more noticeable several hours into an event than they do during the first few minutes of trying on a shoe.

Each pair is handcrafted in Italy through a multistep process that can take up to three months to complete. That slower production timeline reflects the brand’s broader philosophy that comfort should not sit separately from luxury design, particularly in occasion footwear where women are expected to remain polished long after the evening begins.

The result is a collection that feels increasingly aligned with how women actually dress now. Beautiful shoes still matter. So does being able to stay in them.
