What to Wear for a Night out in the City

By: Abby Young. Personal and Editorial Fashion Stylist.

I am a personal stylist for top executives and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and one of the main questions I have been getting this spring is: “What should I wear?” We are starting to attend in-person events after two years and I see a shift in the way people engage with their wardrobe. There is a new focus on how clothes and shoes make us feel rather than just their aesthetic value. My clients want to look great AND they want to be comfortable! Needless to say, my go-to shoes for absolute comfort are Elizée shoes!

No matter what you are doing or where you are going, my goal is for you to look and feel your best! With comfort and occasion in mind, here are some recommended looks to wear to a trendy restaurant, an art gallery, or to listen to live music in San Francisco.

1. Trendy Restaurant

The Look: A sleek midi dress with an asymmetrical, halter, keyhole halter, or high-neck neckline. The dress may be body conforming; accenting your curves and contouring your body, or, it might hug you in the bodice and flow nicely from the hips down. Grab a jacket and your Elizée Deia booties and you are good to go!

 2. Art Gallery

The Look: A mini, midi, or maxi dress with a medium size print, a pop of color, and fun sleeves paired with slingback heels like the Ametista.

3. Live Music

The Look: A tank, sweater, paperbag pants, fitted trousers, or high waisted jeans and those gorgeous signature Bella heels.

So… Where are you going? and, What are you wearing!?
