An accomplished Silicon Valley executive with a love of fashion, Erika identified a gap in the luxury shoe market when she couldn’t find shoes that were both stylish and comfortable. As CFO for leading software companies, she traveled frequently, and ran from board meetings during the day to dinner with her team after work. Like many women, she sought feminine footwear crafted for fit and comfort to keep pace with her dynamic lifestyle, yet found that most luxury brands did not design for wearability.

Convinced a better solution was possible, Erika leveraged her business background to tackle the challenge of creating a beautiful high heel that could keep a woman comfortable on her feet all day. After traveling to Milan to study shoe construction at the prestigious Arsutoria school, Erika connected with master artisans and a family-owned heritage Italian factory. Combining generations of expertise in luxury craftsmanship with the input of podiatrists, the team dedicated themselves to engineering the signature Plush Contour Insole and the debut collection. A year later, Elizée was born.

Elizée is deeply personal to Erika: each design is an homage to the strength, accomplishments and style of the fashionable women in her family.
